Spotter Boat Captains

15 Crews are required. Self supervised.

Spotter Boat Captains kindly supply their own boats, but the Atikokan Bass Classic will pay for gas used. A Spotter Boat will be assigned to patrol a portion of the Floods and saftey lanes. The Captains will be provided with a radio so they can communicate with each other and the Landing Marshal, Jill Leduchowski. Jill will also have a radio and then can forward any messages to either the ABC Event Tent or to the appropriate emergency dispatchment. Sadly Spotter Boats can no longer fish while on duty.

Spotter boats will have a rope to be able to tow disabled crafts with, and they can transport a Team's catch of bass to the Anderson Dam Landing Oxygen Crew if a Team can't make the weigh-in due to boat failure.

Free cold pop and water will be available at the landing. Lunch will be provided if requested.
