Weigh Scale Administration Sub Committee: Team Leader: Brian Stimson

·      Post necessary signs

·      Arrange for more parking (M&C)

·      Lights – permanent power source upgrades – ABC kids area

·      Check with Mike re: stage

·      Have new tent augers installed to support the tent additions

·      Visit FFBC to learn about scales – bring scales here

·      make sure our scale is shipped back after the FFCBC uses it

·      check condition of scale and that it works

·      ready and test reader board

·      place board that prevents the bass from flapping about, in the Bass Recuperation Tank, to wet it down

·      check the condition of the weigh baskets and that they all weigh the same.

·      check the condition of the weigh bags

·      set up Bass Transfer Table

·      install stairs and ramp for competitors to access stage

·      ramp from stage to Bass Recuperation Tank

·      supervise parking attendants, cue card holder and golf cart driver

·      have tubs of water ready to transfer the bass from bags to weigh containers

 

Event Tent Setup/Takedown Sub Committee: Team Leaders – Jimmy Johnson

Duties & Responsibilities:

·      organize a group of local Competitors (best to get same group year after year) to set up Event Tent

·      install overhead lighting on main tent poles

·      organize a crew to take down the tent

·      ask Township to install snow fence as per liquor license instructions

·      have bleachers brought over from ball park

·      have chairs brought over from Fix-it Club

·      install stage

·      install banners

·      provide electrical hook up

 

Legion Setup Sub Committee: Team Leaders: Lisa Johnson

Duties & Responsibilities:

·      inform the Legion of the tourney date and times.

·      negotiate steak supper and volunteer breakfast cost

·      invite their Colour Guard to lead the parade

·      ask Earl to welcome the Competitors

·      set up Barbeques and supply a volunteer to watch over them

·      ask them if they’d like to open their canteen the Thursday and Saturday evenings of the tourney

·      set up tables

·      set up prize table

·      invite Mayor to welcome Competitors
